Dr. Srijan Kumar is an award-winning computer scientist and researcher, a professor at Georgia Tech, and CEO of Lighthouz AI.
He is the cofounder of Lighthouz AI is a 1.5 year old startup transforming business back-office operations with AI agents, specifically starting with Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payables. Lighthouz AI is funded by Y Combinator, Z21 Ventures, Endiya Partners.
His work has been covered in a documentary (Familiar Shapes), in a radio interview (WABE), and by popular press, including Wired, CNN, Wall Street Journal, Tech Crunch, New York Magazine, and more.
Over the last 15 years, Dr. Kumar has built AI systems for Google, Meta, and Home Depot. He is a world-recognized leader in Natural Language Processing and has written 70+ peer-reviewed publications that have been cited 6500+ times.
Dr. Kumar has been recognized as an NSF CAREER awardee, Forbes 30 under 30 honoree, Kavli Fellow by National Academy of Sciences, CRA Computing Innovation Mentor, Facebook Faculty Research Awardee, Adobe Faculty Research Awardee, Class of 1969 Teaching Fellow, ACM SIGKDD Doctoral Dissertation Award 2018 runner-up, WWW 2017 Best Paper Award runner-up, Larry S.
